Coqui Cyclery - A fun meeting place for all cyclists
About Us
"SPIKE" Toler - I was born, got my nick name "Spike" in high school, graduated college, underwent back surgery and then began mountain biking. I have been on (and off) a mountain bike for 25 years. For the last 10 + years I have had a desire to open up a much needed bike shop on the Southside of Richmond near Crossroads Coffee Shop and the trails. In preparation for that dream, I have tried to learn as much as I could about the retail, mechanics and customer service aspects of running a successful business. I want it to be a gathering place as much as a shop and for our store to become a permanent fixture in the neighborhood.

Clint "BIKEDOC" Kronenberger - I have been in the bicycle industry most of my life. My father opened up our first family bicycle shop when I was 7 years old. After school, I could not wait to go to the shop and have my father teach me everything that he knows about a bicycle. I started just fixing flats at The Bike Stop in Cape Coral Fl. and within 2 years I was well versed in the art of bicycle mechanics. Thanks for that Dad! I have spent every year since then honing my skills to become the best bicycle mechanic that I can be. I am very passionate about my craft and strive to keep up with the latest technology in the business. For over 25 years my hands have fixed thousands of bicycles. I look forward to you stopping  by the store and you are invited to pull up a chair and talk bike. I encourage you to bring your favorite two wheeled machine in and give me an opportunity to exceed all of your expectations of what customer service in the bicycle industry should be.

Cory Scott-  I was born and raised in Richmond, VA. I graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, and B.S. in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. While in College, I was the President of W&M Cycling Club and W&M Triathlon Club, volunteered at a retirement home in the Alzheimer’s/ Dementia Unit, volunteered at Matthew Whaley Elementary School for SHIP (School Health Initiative Program), and interned at The National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Additionally, I raced road bicycles in the top collegiate category and won USA Collegiate National Road Championships in Madison, Wisconsin.  If you have any questions regarding racing, or bikes; I'm sure I can point you in the right direction!

Kelly Neville-                                                                                                                        I grew up in Midlothian and am a recent Virginia Tech graduate. I
studied Human Nutrition and Exercise, an interest which my life is
centered. My introduction into endurance sports was with triathlon
but my love for cycling has taken over within the past year. I raced
mountain bikes with the Virginia Tech Cycling Club and spent the
summer of 2011 cycling cross country with my dad. Having experienced
the country in such a way, and being in the saddle for so long, makes
love riding even more. I enjoy long rides with the company of others
and love getting anyone and everyone out riding, either on the trails
or on the road.
